How Actimate AB accesses, uses, stores or shares your Google and Health Kit data

 

This privacy policy sets out how Actimate AB and the Actimate app uses and protects any information that you give us when you use this website and/or mobile application.

 

Actimate AB is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

 

Actimate AB may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 2021-10-13.

 

 

What we collect

 

We may collect the following information:

 

– Name

 

– Contact information including email address

 

– Fitness and lifestyle data related to metrics tracked by Google Fitness and Apple Health Kit

 

– Information made publicly available in your Google profile

 

– Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

 

 

What we do with the information we gather

 

Your data is stored on secured Microsoft Azure servers and maintained by our development team. We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better product, and in particular for the following reasons:

 

Internal record keeping.

 

We may display your data within our mobile application.

 

We do not sell or otherwise grant access to your data to any third parties.

 

We store the data in Microsoft Azure servers which meet the EU requirements for processing personal data. The servers are maintained by our development team. 

 

We use your Activities and translate them into points. A one-minute activity gives one point for you and your team. These are accumulated for the competition. Other teams cannot see your points. Your teammates can see your activities and number of points. You can hide your points so that your teammates cannot see them. Your team manager and employees who have received an administrator login can see your points, your email and if you’ve been logged in.

 

This type of data will be shown as they are or used to present your activities in the form of graphs on the main screen of the application. 

 

Activities are stored on the device locally and on Actimate AB servers, whether they are added through Google Fitness, Apple Health Kit or manually by the user. No data will be written to Google Fitness or Apple Health Kit.

 

The Actimate application will have only READ access to your Google Fitness or Apple Health Kit. No data will be deleted or changed by the mobile application. No data will be shared to other platforms.

 

The Actimate application does require an internet connection to function.

 

 

Google Fitness

 

The Actimate application will read the following:

 

– total daily Move Minutes,

 

– number of steps per day,

 

– activity

 

 

The Actimate Application does NOT access the following:

 

– Basal metabolic rate (BMR),

 

– Calories burned,

 

– Cycling pedaling cadence,

 

– Cycling pedaling cumulative,

 

– Heart Points,

 

– Power,

 

– Step count cadence,

 

– Step count delta,

 

– Workout,

 

– Personal information, such as names and addresses, that has not been made publicly available

 

 

Apple Health Kit

 

You are allowing the Actimate application to access to your:

 

– number of steps per day,

 

– total daily distance,

 

– activities

 

This type of data will be used to present your activity in the form of graphs on the main screen of application.

 

The Actimate application will have only READ access to your Google Fitness and/or Apple Health Kit data. No data will be deleted or changed by mobile application. Also, no data will be shared to other platforms without your express permission.

 

All Google Fitness and Apple Health Kit activity data will be store in your mobile device memory or saved on Microsoft Azure servers in a secured location.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

 

 

How we use cookies
